How We Began

Popcorn was built by ticket brokers, not observers.

We spent years inside the resale markets, watching prices swing with the constant pressure of balancing sales with expirations. Pricing was never theoretical. It was the difference between control and chaos.

Like most brokers, we relied on manual processes and imperfect tools. We tracked comps and adjusted prices based on instinct and experience. Some software helped marginally but it was limited, expensive, and ultimately not a long-term solution.

We knew the problem wasn't effort. It was structure.

Popcorn began as an internal system to solve that problem for ourselves.

We built what we needed because it didn't exist.

Systems Evolution

Ticket markets demand precision, timing, and discipline. Prices move quickly, inventory expires, and decisions compound over time. The challenge isn't effort, it's managing complexity consistently.

Popcorn was built to address that challenge.

The name comes from Process to Optimize Pricing. Popcorn focuses on optimizing the pricing system itself: how data is gathered, evaluated, forecasted, and acted upon. A single data point is just noise. When signals are aggregated, contextualized, and modeled over time, patterns emerge and informed decisions become possible.

Popcorn does not promise outcomes. It provides brokers with structured tools so decisions are made with clarity and discipline instead of assumption.

Better pricing comes from better systems, not better guesses.
